Dave Hurka

Dave is a Baltimore native full-stack web developer who loves to create tools that make life easier as well as entertain. The fascination with computers began early as he learned to build computers and websites while in elementary school; since, he has co-founded and operated a tech based company for a number of years before converting to programming full time. Passionate about everything code, Dave spends most of his time contributing to open source projects, tutoring, leading workshops, and participating in hackathons. Although versed in many languages, Ruby is his language of choice. In his free time he can be found developing his home/garden automation system or experimenting with machine learning next to his two pugs, Molly and Marvin.
