Micropipette Challenge, onboard MdBioLab
Partnership event co-sponsored by the MdBio Foundation and UM BioPark
Micropipette Challenge is a hands-on activity designed to familiarize students with a real-world laboratory setting and equipment – a deep dive into the lab and into future careers in science.
Middle school students from the James McHenry School will participate and compete – 7th graders at 10 AM; 8th graders at 11 AM.
Students who successfully follow the directions will draw and expel liquids using a micropipette and vie competitively to be the first to receive a colorful result.
