Lasers & Drones: Capturing the World in 3D

Elevated Element has joined forces with Direct Dimensions to bring you Lasers & Drones: Capturing the World in 3D at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. Both Owings Mills, MD companies have worked with the BMI on their Save the Crane Campaign, by capturing 3D laser scan and drone photographic data of the historic crane that came from the Bethleham Steel site. Elevated Element and Direct Dimensions will describe and demonstrate how they combine laser scan and aerial photogrammetry to create extremely accurate and realistic digital 3D models of a variety of subjects from monuments to most recently, the flood ravaged area of downtown Ellicott CIty.
