Kaiser Permanente Social Innovation Challenge

Put your talents to good use for your community. Kaiser Permanente believes that no one knows how better to address the health issues troubling the city, than the people who live there. As part of Baltimore’s Innovation Week, Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States is hosting a Social Innovation Challenge with the goal of identifying creative solutions to improve the well being of people in Baltimore City.

The Social Innovation Challenge is designed to bring people with various skillsets (e.g. idea generators, activists, wellness experts, tech developers) together to create tech OR non-tech solutions to address some of the most pressing issues in the area: education and workforce development, access to health care, and mental health.

Mentorship from local leaders in social entrepreneurship, organization development, and activism is available before the challenge. In addition to prizes awarded on site, winning teams will be eligible to participate in an incubation program to fast track the creation of these solutions, rapidly nurture ideas, and interact with potential investors.
