Code in the Schools 4th Annual Game Jam
Stop playing video games and start making them! Code in the Schools' Annual Game Jam is a one-day event where youth (6th Grade through 12th Grade) work in teams to create an original video game in less than 12 hours! The Fourth Annual Game Jam will take place on October 1, 2016 from 8am-8pm at Code in the Schools' office located at 10 E. North Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21202.
For the Fourth Annual Game Jam, students will use The Unity Game Engine 2D tools package to design and code video games based on a theme announced the morning of the Game Jam. Teams have all day to work on their games and then a panel of Code in the Schools’ expert judges will award prizes at the end. All registrants receive a Code in the Schools t-shirt and swag bag. This event is free and open to the public as part of Baltimore Innovation Week.
